CEO/Founder, Pierre Pierce is an accomplished and experienced basketball coach and trainer.

Prior to founding DBLP, LLC, Pierre achieved much success playing for Westmont High School in Westmont, Illinois. Following his high school career, Pierre went off to the University of Iowa where he attended on a full Division I basketball scholarship and became an All-Big Ten Performer. After his college career, Pierre was invited to play in the 2007 NBA Summer League for the Golden State Warriors. Ultimately, Pierre chose to pursue a professional career in Europe, where he was a starting point guard/shooting guard for eight years. Pierre played for a number of teams across countries, such as France, Greece, Ukraine, and Georgia.

After retiring from his basketball playing career, Pierre started DBLP, LLC in 2016 as a way to remain close to the game he's always loved and has been passionate about. More importantly, DBLP, LLC was founded to help children not only learn foundational basketball skills on the court but to also learn how to live a more disciplined, purposeful, and healthy life off the court. With this in mind, Pierre incorporates mental well-being exercises, motivational speeches and yoga training sessions, a practice he sharpened while training youth and professionals in Beijing, China.

 

To further the company's mission and reach, Pierre has been intentional about the organizations DBLP, LLC partners with and as such, the company's current partnerships include the Chicago Youth Centers and YWCA.
