LJ started coaching and training with Dblp Basketball back in June 2021.

LJ is an experienced Division I student athlete with a vast background and entrepreneurial spirit. She graduated from the University of Toledo where she majored in Chemical Engineering and became the first African American female to do so. She is driven by her desire to compete at all levels and takes pride in providing the best coaching and learning experience.

LJ is from Canton, Ohio where was inducted in the Golden Eagle Athletic Hall of Fame for her athletic performance in volleyball, basketball, and track. She earned two state track titles in the 4x800 meter relay, runner-up state basketball and finally the goal as Captain of the State Championship basketball team her senior year.

Although she was recruited for all three sports, LJ decided to accept a full academic scholarship to the University of Toledo. However, her desire to athletically compete at the next level didn't stop in high school. She ended up walking onto the University of Toledo's women's basketball team and supported her team in becoming MAC Champions.
